Two totally different things are totally different? Just because something uses certain types of characteristics doesn't mean everything from that time period or even a specific game is great. I like Hard Reset having a Doom-like design but that doesn't mean I want the game to not have mouse aiming.So we should force stagnation? If Nintendo tried to have a completely voice acted Zelda then, yeah, it'll suck donkey balls the first time out because it'll be their first time trying it and Nintendo is horrific at picking voices. But they'll also get better at it with each subsequent game and it'll improve their increasingly cinematic cutscenes from playing out like a silent movie with dialogue cards. If they never do it it'll never get better. Which I guess is what you want, so I'm not even sure why you bother to play new games at all.Quote:
