I bet Nintendo Power gave it a 10, too.

I bet Nintendo Power gave it a 10, too.
I'm giving it a score of "Maybe Next Year". I still haven't beaten Dark Souls, got Saints Row yesterday, need to play Rayman, and the new Serious Sam comes out next week. I'm booked solid.
-edit- Oh, and Dead Island! I finally found the source of a crash bug so I can finish it up at last. Deeply flawed, but I've enjoyed the hell out of it anyway.

Mzo's post was nice. It's too bad developers are scared and consumers are stupid. Remember the outrage over the DQIX team shedding turn-based battles in favor of the real time combat they wanted DQ to have all along? I felt the earth tremble that day.

Nintendo has even made fully-voiced games since the N64 and has said, "No, this is how it's going to be" about the lack of full speech in Zelda since the N64 days. He's talking about how Twilight feels like a 5-year old game because it's not huge (even though it's a 30-40 hour game and huge compared to the rest of the series) and it doesn't have voice-acting. What exactly constitutes a game that feels 5-years old? Being a Nintendo game made exactly like a Nintendo game is made? He's wanting Zelda to be a different game with Zelda-like qualities. This isn't an issue with Nintendo making Zelda games, this is an issue with Mzo wanting to play games that aren't Zelda games.
Then he went off on a tangent about how he hates finding hearts behind rocks and how Majora's Mask is completely different while ignoring that Twilight Princess is as different from any other Zelda game as Majora's, Wind Waker, and any Zelda has been since the first. aside from the portable games. Mzo, you're ridiculous. Go play Skyrim or whatever, WE'RE DONE.
Other than Majora's Mask and Zelda II, all these Zelda games are the fucking same.
Zelda series is the Madden of adventure games.
You obviously never played Madden 98.
I cancelled my preorder. Word of inaccurate controls and fetch quests out the ass turned me off.
Great Zelda games:
Zelda II
A Link to the Past
Link's Awakening
Wind Waker
Landstalker (oh wait, wrong thread)
Good Zelda games:
Ocarina of Time / Majora's Mask
Zelda I
Phantom Hourglass
Minish Cap
Crap Zelda games:
Spirit Tracks
Twilight Princess
Skyward Sword (??)
Also, i guess i'm obligated to say this: Good job on liking all the bad Zeldas except Wind Waker which is the good one, blueskied. You hate everything i like and i don't even have the energy to think of the other part.
