If they kept the movie exactly as it was but only changed the names of all the characters, I bet no one would have caught on that it was based on Mario.
Is that available on DVD yet?
And, Mortal Kombat used to be my favorite movie ever, until I saw Rushmore. I also like the RE movie. And HATE the TR movie. But, not that I thought it had nothing to do with the game or anything (cuz, I think it did, even though I hate those games), I just didn't like the cast. I don't like Angelina Jolie, which pretty much ruins the movie, AND, unless extremely well done (like Minority Report) I HATE a lot of CG in my movies.

There were three standout problems with this movie that bothered me more than anything else:
1.It has John Leguizamo in it.
2.Luigi is the main character
3.Luigi gets Daisy
WTF is that crap. As if John Leguizamo being in it wasn't bad enough.Mortal Kombat: Annhilation(The random pit of fire everyone falls into is pure comedy) and SF The movie were garbage but they were funny because of their flaws(Although I think SF was meant to be a comedy to begin with...Bisonopolis, c'mon) but the Mario Bros. movie just hurt.
Don't bring the Double Dragon movie up either. It didn'thappen. If DD has to have a movie, Double Impact would be a better choice.
Truly a shame too, it simply doesn't look real anymore. I'll take movies with odd little monsters in them from the 80s, when realistic looking creatures were a staple.Quote:
