Hey, Super Mario Brothers ruled! It was such campy-ass fun, I loved it. Even the cheesy-ass opening. "What if the meteor hadn't killed all the dinosaurs? What if some of them survived underground and grew and evolved like the rest of us?" That was pure gold :lol:
One of the best B-movies ever, and it was based on a classic video game. Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo for life! :D

There has never been a good movie based of a videogame. I'm sorry, but they all suck in their own special way. The only one I sat through without throwing up my popcorn was the FF movie, but it's only saving grace was the quality of the animation.
Movies to games can work. But it doesn't look very good for games to movies.

Say what you want, but Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil were good game to movie translations.
And I enjoyed FF movie as well, even though many people here didnt.
