The Real TNL Pub 2009

Tried a beer called Bitburten (I think) last night that was pretty good, had a very mild bitter taste with what I can only say reminded me of the smell of pot. Pretty good beer and I'd like to try bottles as it was on tap. And a Blue Moon for the first time in forever.
Had to follow up the night in the hotel room with Bud Light... needless to say i did not choose this.

Draft, can or keg Yuengling is fine. The problem is buying shit that sits out in green (like the two above examples) or clear glass bottles all the time. What happens to light-struck beer that's not in brown glass? It gets skunked.

I can't think of a liquor store that lets bottles sit in the sun. It must be the case, however. Yuengling is always my go to beer when I'm broke.

My favorite Oktoberfest beer will be waiting for me when I get back from my night class. Not to mention I found it at "Ye olde Spirit Shop" in Frederick which I never knew existed. They have a killer (and affordable) beer selection. Stone Vertical epic 090909 - $5.99!! Stone is usually so ridiculously overpriced on the east coast.

I just paid $6.99 for the same thing! Fuck you!

I prefer Yuengling out of the can to any other form. It's awesome in the can.


My brother in law gave me a 6 pack of Hofbrauhaus Oktoberfest today. It's pretty damn good, considering its from the mecca of oktoberfest.

I had some of that last night for free. My new neighbor is a beer nut. He's got a keggerator with 2 kegs of home brew in it. I tried the two he had on tap (v good), and then he opened a bottle of Vertical Epic.

Tonight from the store I grabbed Dogfish 60 min. Then I come home and it was 90 min everyone here was talking about. Mistake?

I haven't had the 60, but the 90 is pretty good. The 120 Min is the infamous one that's $10 a bottle
