Tatsunoko vs. Capcom-- This game is INCREDIBLY fun.
Castlevania: OoE--A beautiful game. Just finished it and am about to go through it again.
Castlevania: AoS--Decided to go back to the best GBA game, then I'll work my way up to the two DS games that precede OoE.
Fallout 3 - Alright game, I should have waited for the price to drop though
Mass Effect PC - I still love Mass Effect, but the lack of word about anymore DLC or even the sequels is worrying me.
CastleVania Portrait of Ruin - Good game, I'd say most the CastleVania games even on DS have been enjoyable though most not memorable, this one is pretty fun though.
CastleVania SOTN - Great game that I've put on Hold while I play through PoR, I plan to place OoE after SOTN as well.
Persona 4 - Stopped playing this because I got sick but picked it back up again yesterday.
Warcraft III Campagin - I dunno why but I decided to play through the whole game again over time.
World of Warcraft Wrath - I haven't touched it in about 4 weeks, and I'll probably only play on main raiding days because I want to enjoy other games.
I'm a few hours into this as well. The combat is dreadful, at least at first glance. When I dodge an attack, why do I land several character lengths out of counter-attack range? What's the point of all of these fighting styles if mashing A until they block, then hitting X works just as well in all of them? Is this the tip of the iceberg, or is this all the game has to offer?Quote:

Jade Empire was more linear than I hoped and the shooter sections sucked (I don't get the praise for those) but I thought it was a solid ARPG.
I have been playing:
Spelunky! - This should be getting more attention in bVork's thread. I loved cave exploring platformers back in the 8-bit computer days, and this is a really fresh take on those. The art and music are awesome but what makes it stand out is how well they pulled off random generated levels.
StarTropics - I'm still pissed off I never beat this many years ago because I didn't have the piece of paper with the code that was necessary several hours in. It was one of my favourite action-adventures until that. Thankfully there's the internet for when I reach that part this time. I'm loving this again.
Dead Head Fred - The beat 'em up-style combat is a bit shallow but I dig the game for the overall weirdness of putting on various demented heads for different tasks. At the moment, I would say this isn't great but it's still somewhat overlooked as far as PSP games go.
Wario Land: Shake It! - Like I said in the official thread, it's not the best in the series but it's still enjoyable. I think the determining factor of how much I like the game will be how enjoyable it is to do all the sub-missions in each level given how easy the main game has been so far.
Multiwinia - I haven't played much yet but it's a neat little RTS, and one that can be played in short bursts.
And I'm still playing quick fixes of Rock Band and Trackmania United Forever here and there.
i started playing a link to the past on gba over the weekend. i remember starting this game and beating it back in the day...but i can't remember anything that happened in the middle. i could do with out the added voices.
Gonna play Fallout 2 now.

You have to reload a save.
6) Why the goddamn fuck don't you start with a fucking pistol? Or come across one soon? Why make a ranged character at all?
7) Jesus fuck combat is boring in this game. It was pretty boring in 1 too but it wasn't this goddamn tedious to get into the game. 2 hours in and I'm level 5 and still have the basic gun and a goddamned knife/spear.
8) Did I mention this game is boring as fuck?
9) REUSED GRAPHICS! I wondered at how the game was released a mere year after the first. This is why. The first town looks like the hub in the first game. Exactly. Same exact everything. Right down to the "blades" sign.
10) I'm sick of inside nerd jokes in games. They don't make me happier about your world.
11) Did I mention this is just an expansion pack?
12) There's no sense of urgency when you begin the game and I wish they wouldn't pull more hidden time shit on you. If this is going to be a fucking 50 hour game I only want to play it once.
