I guess I can post the piece that didn't get in then. I knew it wasn't as strong as my first one, and I hit the deadline so just copped-out on certain elements (like that, uh, background). I tried to create some interesting negative space with the blacks and whites, and hoped the characters' placement would create some weird ambiguous story.
Oh, and Morrigan's wings come from the back of her bodice, and not up near her shoulder blades, oops. My original idea was to have Morrigan on a throne of sorts, with all the "spoils" of her Darkstalker battles around her (Talbain's 'chucks, Hsien-Ko's claws, Pyron trapped in a lamp, Huitzil butler, etc), posed as an homage to this piece. I kind-of wish I had started with that one now, but I'm glad to have gotten anything in (and a free copy of the book - so poor). Hopefully my Felicia/Talbain piece knocked some erotic furry submission out of consideration, that would be doubly satisfying.
