I agree, but it's not really our place to decide for someone else what their life is worth to them.

Eye love jelly.
That works on different levels!

Hey, I didn't say he shouldn't have been treated. Shitty that he wasn't, and yea it led to him doing whatever. But it's too late now, treating him NOW won't bring back the people he killed. So why the fuck would you treat him. Is he ever going to be rehabbed and let out? Fuck no. So stuff him in the gas chamber already and have done with it.
And while we're at it we should just gas downs kids and people with AIDS, because they aren't going to get better.
Oh please. Stop letting yourself get overly distraught. Downs kids?? Really? The man committed a horrible crime. He's not ever going to be worth anything to society. All he'd doing right now is taking money away from AIDS and Downs Syndrome research. Every day he's alive and is being "treated" more money goes down the shitter. He's already on Death Row. Tell me what good comes from treating him. If he's ever released, are you going to care if he moves in next to you?
Downs kids aren't worth anything to society either. Hell, unemployed people aren't worth anything to society. Thats a moot point.
He's blind now, so sure, he can move next to me. I doubt he'll ever be released now though, no matter how rehabilitated he gets.
For one, treating him would help him find some peace of mind. You're talking about a person with this disease, and it sucks hard that he has to live in a perpetual state which is tense enough to drive him to do something like this. Try having a little empathy. Also, the field of mental illness and its treatment is still in its infancy, so treating him could be beneficial towards research, which could help revent things like this from happening again, and potentially save billions of dollars.
I don't believe any person has the right to decide who lives and who dies and killing this man is just as wasteful as keeping him alive.
Eye see.
