The deal is that rosa's (a local competitor) is giving 50% of the value of cc gift cards. Which is bullshit because they're still worth full value at cc until the liquidation is over according to circiutcity.com

Just spent my $50 dollar gift card (got the new ds castlevania game and some misc. crap). I got full value for it.

I rarely went to CC. When I did, it was usually during those videogame clearance sales. I did buy my PC from them back in 2003 though.

I don't recall buying anything from Circuit City...ever.

Went by there today, very crowded. DVDs were 20% off, Games and TVs 10%. I left without getting anything.
