Oh, I'm with you that immigration reform is long, long overdue. I've been grumbling about that through this entire process. Money aside, it's just too complicated and time consuming--and I'm coming from a position of relative comfort and means. I can only begin to imagine how it is for those for whom it's a desperate matter of life and death.Quote:

The problem with this (immigration, or anything else) is that the people who overwhelmingly disapprove of Congress' job performance also refuse to believe that their particular Congressman might be part of the problem. "Throw all the incumbents out!" is all well and good until it's their guy.
