Haha, I knew this would drop in price quickly, but just not this quickly:

$48 with free shipping at Newegg and Amazon.

I saw a couple people on my friends list had this; what do you guys think of it so far?

If you like Metallica, you'll like this game. I'm using the Rock Band 2 drums for it and the drumming just feels off somehow. I've never used the GH:WT drums so I don't know if it's because the game wasn't designed with RB drums in mind or what. In any case, the guitar parts are really fun to play. I like how the singing parts are done, a bit easier than RB to figure out where your pitch needs to be.

They finally came out with an "officially licensed" splitter for this game that's supposed to make double bass possible on Rock Band drum kits.

Problem is, it only works on the Rock Band 1 kits. Rock Band 2 drum kits are SOL.

Good to see that the "exclusive license" was put to proper use. :lol:
