But, like Seen, I'm hoping for a mod-less solution here.
Like I said I'm pretty sure that it will be a software fix. I'll give it till September, they'll have the encryption key and the magic munber (placed at the end of every memory block in X-Box programs) down by then. I expect that the development will also be simple using MS Visual C++ using some amateur plug-ins. I don't think that it would be too long before we see some kind of dev kit/debugging connection to the X-Box from the PC. Because the core graphics technology from NVidia is very well documented, we should see some professional looking stuff very soon. Not like Dreamcast, where development is difficult.:(
