March 2009 Haul Thread

Because of the divorce and all the moving fees my gaming has a been a bit weak.

To make up for it I reactivated my 2 games out at a time on gamefly. Got uncharted and call of duty world at war.

I had a little credit left over so I grabbed Texas Hold em for 360 live. Never played Hold em before and I got hooked. My strategy of betting 5,000 when I have a 2 and a 6 has won me lots of fake money.

Grabbed Boondock saints on blue ray at FRYS for 16.99. I couldn't pass that up our "shared" copy on dvd was f'ed.

And a 10G Pioneer Elite Kuro PRO111FD, the last of the great Pioneer Plasmas. Almost bit on the PRO151FD, but an additional $2000 for an extra 10" made me reconsider:

Gamestop got my pre-order SF4 LE stick in finally... I guess they almost sold it to someone else who didn't even pre-order it before I got there.

I'm sorry, I meant to say 9G. There will be no 10G.

I just bought an 8G Elite last year but this is has better blacks and there's some sentimental value for me with this being the last Pio Plasma. It's like owning the Super Fine Pitch Tube Sony WEGA XBR 960 HDTV.
