I've finally managed to convince my wife that playing co-op games over our WLAN would be fun. We're mostly looking at XBL, as we only have one reasonably current gaming PC. Aside from the blatantly obvious Gears 2 and RE5, what are the best online cooperative games out there?
Another blatantly obvious choice: Left4Dead
..if you can bring yourself to buy a console port of a Valve game.
I also like the terrorist hunts in the Rainbow Six Vegas games.

Dynasty Warriors is pretty simple, she could grip that pretty quickly.
Complexity isn't an issue. She's beaten Splinter Cell, BioShock, Mercenaries 2, Fallout 3, etc. this generation on her own.

Army of Two was a blast on coop--kinda like R6 Vegas with an aggro meter. It's best played on harder difficulties. and you can get one $20 new.
Army of Two came to mind as well, but since EA is a bunch of fucking douchebags, it's not region free. :cry:
