I predict TWO seperate DLC packs for MGS4, which 1) adds the post-Portable Ops story of Big Boss, and what happened to him after his "death" by solid snake. 2) The backstory to Raiden saving Sunny and him becoming Cyborg Ninja.

Also, the word on the street is working on multiple games, so expect maybe 2 other games besides these DLC packs.

I wish I could somehow force Kojima to understand exactly how much I despise the Metal Gear storyline. Dude should stay the hell away from a script.

You mean you can't appreciate an intricate narrative involving silly government codenames, mysterious hundreds-year old billionaire shadow oligarchies, super sophisticated satellite godhead AI's built in the 90's, psychic japanese supermodels, men hypnotized to believe that they're the long-dead brother of a supersoldier messiah built to age rapidly, hot science chicks with butt cancer and the otaku hackers who love them, little girls that cook eggs and live in the internet, microwave hallways, robot ninjas that bleed milk, super soldiers that use bees/ravens/wolves/spacesuits/robotic exoskeletons/katana/revolvers/photosynthesis, electric drill tanks that catapult nukes, and Kenyan mangrove crabs?

That doesn't sound bad.

Who the fuck plays these games, they are all terrible.

I have to be honest; I think even I've gotten to the point where I find all of the Kojima / Metal Gear teasing to be far more annoying than anticipating. Wow, they're teasing something, I wonder if it could be a new Metal Gear?! Some of the games in the series are great, but come on, we don't need this elaborate tease leading up to an iPhone game or some DLC content. It's actually okay just to one day say, "Hey, guess what folks, here's the new game we're been working on."

We know, Kojima; all you can do at this point is milk the Metal Gear teet. Now, you want to do a new Snatcher, or some project that isn't re-using the same world and characters? That's something to tease.

The problem isn't that MG is somehow all he's capable of any more, it's that Konami's gonna keep making them with or without him and he can't bear to relinquish control.
