Shuddup dawg.
AOW!
Turns out the old Tony Hawk games were just pushing buttons on a game console and not real skating at all! So they're really not "skating games" omg.
Calling Punchout not a boxing game is too far, perhaps something like this will rinse all the sand out of your vagina.
Punch-Out series = arcade/action boxing game
Fight Night series = boxing simulation
Tony Hawk series = garbage skateboarding arcade/action game
Skate series = skateboarding simulation
Your posts are like a Summer's Eve, King. Always have been.
You douche.
I love how Punch-Out comes into the discussion even though my point was about shitty "realistic controllers" (as used in WII BOXING and TONY HAWK) not being nearly as good as refined gamepad alternatives (like SKATE and FIGHT NIGHT)
I can't believe this POS controller/game is going to run you $120.
Arcade vs. simulation was what I was getting at, hence the metal slug call of duty comparison.
I've been playing the games in this series since the begining, and to this day I still play them on a daily basis. With that said, I think this is stupid, this series is dead, and although I understand their desire to do something different, this just looks like a bad idea to me, especially at that price point.
If you want to play a tony hawk game, stick with Underground 1 it is the best in the series and it is the most techinical and deep game in the franchise.
