I don't think you get how it works. Disk swapping would make the install process 100x worse, not avoid it. It would be like playing Metal Gear Amiga or something. (Assuming Microsoft broke their rules and even let a developer use the hard disk).

Sorry I was actually talking about the fundamental difference between the PS3 and 360, it shouldn't be necessary for a game to install itself, that should simply be an option.
No, see, Microsoft would be requiring installs too had they not played the stupid fucking numbers game with the "Core" system and left out the hard drive. It is where games are headed and rightfully so.
And it's slightly disgusting based on some of the #s, something should not be mandatory until it works well. I am glad I don't HAVE to install everything to my harddrive. And it's worse with MGS because you install each chapter, I don't think that's common right?
People are bitching that games don't have loading time, now? Jesus Christ.
What? I was just defending that some types of game may still have a load time and that it's not feasible to think that every game can just avoid a load time. I'm sure one day there will be just a black screen followed by the new map but that's not exactly something that can happen without a short load time. But you take games like Uncharted which can actually load everything in the background because they're not segmented.
You mean why would you want to fight pointless enemies that just get in the way of you getting to the next story point after clearing a section, very very few games are good enough that I want to just fight enemies, or are you saying you want grinding in your games? I'd rather save time and continue with my gaming than just fighting shit that's there so some fags can have a period of transition through environments just because they don't want a five second load time.
So hey, let's just rename every thread in gaming discussion to "Yoshi starts shit, someone feeds the troll."
I've been looking forward to this game since they were releasing trailers, and I don't have this bizarre automatic "Clover = bad" stigma that some seem to have, so I'm pretty optimistic about Bayonetta. Some of the super bizarre, over the top moments remind me of the cutscenes from DMC3. Middle finger motorcycle revving, hairpin pistols, hair monsters, wall running and superfluous combos infest every gameplay video, and it never gets old to me.
You guys should stop having this argument.
It's absurd.
