I don't have anything against chains from a food stand point, but they aren't really worthy of discussion. I rather people talk about interesting small/local or specialty restaurants.

I went to Lombardis in Manhattan on some yellow bastards recommendation. The pizza sauce was watery, the cheese almost non existent, and the pepperoni were few and far between.
Yet despite all that, it turned out to be a pretty frickin' good pizza.
^_^
Some fat neo-nazi skinhead farmer demanded good NY pizza, so being a yellow bastard I must comply.

Never cared for the Big L in new york pizzawise, I've had better from fucking street vendors.
street vendors sell pizza?
I thought Lombardi's was pretty good. Maybe overrated but it was tasty. I love thin crust, but like SSJN said, it could have used more sauce. A new pizza shop opened on my street and I definitely prefer theirs over Lombardi's.
