It looked like more of a prequel to me.

She was getting the tattoos, so it's either a rebuild, or prequel.

Well maybe the old ones washed off.

I don't care if this isn't out till 2016, just the fact it's being made and looks faithful (ha!) to the original makes me very happy. First next-gen announcement/preview that has made me feel that way.

It's such a weird thing to reboot the game and still give it a sequel number.

BTW I've been trying to find the first Mirror's Edge new for $20 on Xbox and it just isn't happening so far, the digital version on Xbox Live is $15 so I may resort to that provided I can't find it at all for cheap but it's strange to see given that this was like really cheap a couple years ago.
