Is it? None of my roommates over the years have ever played wired on any of our computers or consoles. No excess lag or disconnects. Maybe it'd somehow be better wired, but this is and has always been perfectly acceptable.

Let's not pretend that someone at MS said, "Oh, wireless internet is going to degrade the quality of play. Make sure that the consumers can't use it!" Instead they want you to pay $100 for their own wireless bridge.

I've never had any problems with gaming wirelessly. My only gripe is my 360 wireless adapter somehow shitted out, freezing my Xbox whenever it tries to use it and now I have an ethernet cord laying in my walk way to the apartment, which sucks.

Because of this, they've had to recycle faces and animations, use compressed meshes that break the seams, compromise a lot of the optimization, and use MIDI music (it's MP3 on the PC version, but they're still MIDI renders rather than live recordings like Sam and Max's music).

Basically, optimizing for a system with 40 megs of storage and 3 megs of video RAM is a motherfucker, and while he didn't mean the Wii literally had less processing power or video power, he's saying it's more of a pain in their ass than iphone.
