You know what? Boba Fett isn't even a fucking character, he's a thing that happened to be in the background.
Most of the fan-boner characters in Star Wars are just background noise.
I actually watched ESB the other day, it's definitely the best Star Wars movie.
Most of the time when this overrated type discussion comes along it ends with people squabbling over Citizen Kane or Casablanca (which I do think is kind of overrated). Just like the music version turns into people squabbling about The Beatles.

Lucas used to be the master of throwing interesting looking potential action figures in the background of his flicks.
He's less important to the plot than Lando's white manservant.
ESB isn't about Boba, he was just eye candy in the background. The EU is where Boba got a chance to shine.
