What Are You Playing (Autumn 09)

Restart Fighters Jet is fun but I'd probably frisbee the disc if I had to play it for a tournament.

This month, I'm playing Far Cry 2, Wario Land: Shake It!, Pure, and Exit DS. I figure it's time to polish off some of my backlog.

I also finished Batman: Arkham Asylum earlier, but I will eventually go back to it to find all the Riddler stuff and do the challenge rooms.

And of course I'm playing Team Fortress 2, and there will probably never be a month when I don't play that game.

Jet's giving me a heart attack, honest, but I'd probably get that from playing for survival, too. Either way, this whole thing just makes me want to play these games for survival.

The latest videos they have up on Live make it look fantastic (F3).

I have played Raiden 4 longer in the last couple hours than I did the entire time I have had the Japanese version. The game gets ridiculously hard near the end when you don't have a good shot.

Aion CLosed Beta - pretty decent and fun mmo so far. Not far from wow or warhammer, but prettey and you can fly.

Trying to beat last level of Trine - god my gaming skills suck nowdays, but I also always hated the timed run away from shit levels anyways.

Since my PS3 is back in the land of the living, I am back to finish Dead Space.

I have been playing a bit of Ninja Gaiden NES, Land of Illusion SMS, Quartet SMS, Assault City SMS, Marble Madness SMS, Elevator Action GBC, Frenzy CV, and Venture CV. I started to play Alex Kidd in Miracle World on SMS. I'll probably beat Sonic SMS first before giving it a full play.

I won't go this far, but maybe I've put too much time into the original Dirt and Grid and this feels like a mixture of the two. I like it, but I don't love it like Dirt and Grid.

Playing games with Nick and Rated E is really fun! Mzo dropped by too!

Raiden IV (Xbox 360)

I'm pretty terrible at this game. Regardless, I'm having a good time with it. It's definitely better than Raiden III. Although, I am a little disappointed that it's pretty much a remake of Raiden II rather than a true sequel with original levels. Also, the asteroid level doesn't look as good as it did in Raiden II. The music still rocks and the weapon effects are awesome. The blue laser (my favorite) is especially nice-looking.
