???: Episodic? It's not a deal breaker exactly but it is weird in this case. As long as they don't abuse it, it's fine.
My attitude towards this is about the same as NSMB when that was announced. There are things I'd have done differently and I don't expect perfection, but it's good to see the series getting back to its roots.
Episodic makes sense when Sega doesn't really know how well this will sell. Sure, fans have been clamoring for it for a while now, but doesn't mean they'll actually buy it. Also the finished game will likely be much shorter than people think $60, while at the same time being too much of an investment for Sega to sell as a single XBLA game.
Screen looks okay. At high speeds, it'll be good enough.
