The only side effects I've experienced are Short-term memory loss (somewhat), I'm always late (but I think I always have been) and the munchies, which can be controlled with dedication. You can't overdose, you'd pass out way before it happened. I personally don't find it any more harmful than a 3 cig a day smoker.Quote:

i don't smoke regularly - but i used to smoke a bit back in my early high school days (pot and ciggarettes) but never really got addicted - and since i had no money in high school to buy them anyway.
After high school and when I finally got a job I didn't start smoking either, because i didn't see a reason to - although I understand the appeal. Occasionally, like I did tonight, I'll smoke for special occasions (tonight being tracer's birthday 'celebratory night') a cigarrette or two but thats it. I don't mind if ppl smoke around me or whatever, thats their option and I'm fine with it - for me to rail against smokers would be hypocritical. But I'll support and drink to anyone who is attempting to quit.

If you smoke pot a lot, it'll effect your memory. Depending on how long you smoke (as in frequency and days/weeks/months) makes it worse. Short-term memory is the big one. You can't remember where you just put your drink, wallet, pen. Look at snoop dog. He smoked like a fucking chimney for years and he just stopped. (Though he wanted to change his life style too. Didn't want to be on Sesame Street and be a pot head).

Yes, that it sure does. I still smoke too much, and, can't play full halves of soccer anymore. I get tired at about 30, and have to sub.
Of course, I smoke a cig when I'm off, but that's besides the point.
