Both Final Fight and Magic Sword are old-school side-scroling beat-em-ups. Magic Sword puts players in the shoes of The Brave One in a fight against he forces of Drokmar. Final Fight, meanwhile, takes players along for a ride with the iconic Cody, Guy, and Haggar as they fight across six stages of Metro City against Mad Gear. Cody and Guy will also both be playable in Super Street Fighter IV.

This release will have two visual modes, one that will "make the games shine in crisp and clear HD glory," and another that allows players to use the original look. Both games will support leaderboards and online play with drop-in co-op allowing players to join a friend's game already in progress.

I'm very interested to see what the HD mode will look like. Since I have these on Capcom Classics Collection, that will be the potential selling point.

It'll probably use some god awful filter like those backbone developed games. barf Unless these games are completely remade like Bionic Commando Rearmed I'll skip it.

I really hope Backbone isn't responsible. I still do most of my non-MW2 playing on the PS3 and I'm sick of buying their shitty broken games. Hell, they're usually shitty and broken on 360 as well, just less so.

That said, I love Magic Sword. Please don't fuck it up!

I've never played Magic Sword. Is it better than Knights of the Round?

This is going to be awesome. I was hoping that Final Fight would make its way onto Xbox Live Arcade. That along with Doom II were my most anticipated download titles. Magic Sword will be icing on the cake.

Where is Doom 2? I want it now.

Nice tie-in to SSFIV, timing wise. I played the HELL out of the SNES Magic Sword, hopefully there's a decent upgrade.

Two different genres.

Magic Sword is a platformer and Knights of the Round is a BEU. I prefer the former but that's mostly nostalgia driven.
