No clue. There was nothing wrong with what I played. It's not a super great game, but the demo seems more likely to raise interest than not. Then again Brutal Legend had a cool demo, and that game tanked super hard. I guess they know what they're doing.
Having a demo is a double edged sword. If there was no demo for Left 4 Dead 2 I would have bought that day one. The demo changed my mind and now I don't want it at all. Having said that, I really wish there was a demo for this. I can't wait to play it.
Has anyone seen if either system is getting exclusive content for this game like GTA 4 and Tomb Raider Underworld did? I'm thinking about getting this for the PS3 but I don't want to get the shaft like I did when I bought Tomb Raider. I can't find any reviews on this game and it comes out in a little over a week.
Other than having items for Home and Xbox Avatars, I haven't heard of any exclusive content.
This game piqued my interest the moment I saw a screenshot, and those videos only make me want to try it more. I don't usually download demos of games, so that's not an issue for me. Possibly the reason they didn't release one to the public is because they weren't impressed with their outing for E3 but felt they had to have something there to play? Either way, this game looks like it will be good clean fun, and that list of 10 reasons to keep an eye out only reconfirms that feeling for me.
If you go over to the Gamestop site, the bottom of the Darksiders page has 3 videos that I haven't seen and they just make it look better than I already thought it did.
Well, Play gave it a 10. But then again, it's Play, so take it with a grain of salt.
