It's ridiculous that they explicitly included all the exact pieces to make Lockout in Forge, but didn't actually assemble it and put it in the matchmaking rotation.

My dad didn't like this game so he gave me his copy. I loaded multi, got into a game and this is the exact same thing as Halo 3. I cant see how people are impressed by this. At best it's competent. There is no (nonfinancial) reason for this to exist. Hopefully MS will change things up a bit when they whore it out with the two trilogies or whatever. Probably not though.
Combat Evolved!
Combat Acceptable yet Stagnant!
Played some more and yea. It's all very nice but unnecessary. Also, I don't like the maps as much as Halo 3. Firefight is fun but I have that in like 10 other games at the moment. Once again I am baffled by the high praise and Metacritic of a major franchise.
edit: why the hell did they change the controls? If you're going to release the same game again you might as well keep the controls the same.
The only big addition is the armor abilities, but yeah - no one should expect a huge change in Halo gameplay from game to game.
i went back to campaign today, since i stopped on the second to last mission.
too god damn boring for me to finish.
