Gaia Attack 4 is a new 4 player lightgun game from Taito, developed by GameWax (Chase HQ 2). You're killing ghosts & aliens across the world. The backgrounds are filmed from real-world environments and 3D graphics are overlaid on them.

Tekken 6 on PS3/360 will have a global championship allowing you to get special items & costumes for your card on the arcade version. Sega showed Let's Go Island (Let's Go Jungle 2). Here is more info on LGI, which doesn't use the cockpit cabinet - instead opting for an open seat one. Sega also showed Sega Racing Championship (blah) and Tetris Giant at the EAG in London.

Konami was there with Guitar Freaks & Drummania XG, DDR X2 (surprise!), and jubeat knit (jubeat 3).

Are you sure these games aren't from 2001?

I just got nailed with a huge blast of mid-80s arcade nostalgia. Sure, the arcade scene is decades dead at this point, but these videos just drive the point home for about the billionth time.

More about Konami & Namco at AOU'10

Namco showed Dead Storm Pirates (yeah, that's more like it - hell with Dreamcast hardware, give us System 357).

The cabinet is curtained and has a wheel to control the ship's motion during special event scenes. There will be no reloading or running out of ammo. Sometimes you use a large cannon instead of the machine gun. You recover life if your partner continues. Tag-team firing can be done on the same target for even more damage.

There's also a new tank game called "Tank! Tank! Tank!" which looks OK, I guess. I think it might be a little too cartoonish.

Namco will also release the Raw Thrills/Play Mechanix Terminator Salvation gun game for Japan. This one might not be too bad.

Konami's DM/GF XG has March for a release date - it should be available soon if not already, with over 600 songs.

They're running a little late on the Terminato Salvatio game there...

Sure is. I can't wait to find it at GameWorks. Watch it probably cost a little more than Razing Storm, maybe 10-12 credits.



Looks like it uses a flight yoke controller as the gun, similar to Let's Go Jungle. I'd rather have a wired gun similar to most gun games, but this still looks worth a try.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Lucky & Wild 2 next, especially in a Ridge Racer Full Scale type SDX model.
