I got out seven months ago, moved to Michigan for a DOD ATC job and I am currently loving life as a civilian. Life is good! :)

Congrats! I had no idea you were out. I thought you'd do a full term. I'm coming up on 12 years next year. Time flies, doesn't it? I'm hoping to open some doors with this new assignment. At the least, I'm going to get short-tour credit from this one.

Damn dude, how much deployment time have you had? Seems like you don't stay home too long.

Kyrgyzstan - 3 mths
Oman - 3 mths
7-Level (Texas) - 2 weeks
Balad - 4 mths
Kuwait - 4 mths
N. Jersey (ugh) - 2 weeks
Kandahar - 6 months

With this, my total time away from home will be about 2 years.
