the "free" internet mentality is adults' fault.
Had they adapted sooner and with the same speed as their kids, things would be different.
You know why everyone online expects things to be free? Because the average net user is under 30 and doesn't have any money. And oddly, the ones that have money and will spend it online for digital media like ring tones are too stupid to read.
Grammar doesn't pay.
Fucking your mother isn't a crime.
What does that have to do with you cleaning up our parks?
First strategy would be to identify any misinformation pro tax lobbyists would throw. Find a candidate that will back your platform, and if they don't threaten an anti-campaign against them the next time they run (and follow through with it). Despite opposition and strong lobbying among idiot scum politicians you still live in a Republic and mass public opinion still reigns supreme. For better or worse you have that option.
Don't be afraid to vote in independents. Democrats and Republicans are both guilty of lobbyist agenda's. While independents are not unique, they are more likely to be for your interests because most corporations don't yet see them as a valuable investment, thus keeping them a little more honest than the others.
This is the same thing as when the west was just establishing. Online is a virtual goldrush to people who think outside the box and maximize revenue streams. We've seen it time and time again on one-off sites and huge networks and even blogs. If the ad money from papers dried up there would be a huge increase of volume of online advertising, too. Supply and demand would dictate the prices. Like I said above. Maybe we wouldn't have as many billion dollar companies. But more medium-sized quality news outlets. I say this as a scenario, but I doubt it. Look at IGN. Conglomerate, and founded online. Evolve or go extinct.
I can't believe independent people are complaining their billion dollar companies are going by the wayside when their death advents opportunity. People of varied skill sets are ripe to make some gains for their own selfish desires. Get away from crying over the fallout of billionaires who shit on you from above. You do not make a billion dollars. It isn't your money. You should not care.
Drew gets it.
