Batman: The Dark Knight Rises

Wait wait wait wait...
So...Bruce didn't want to turn on the miracle save the world reactor...because somebody might use it to invent a fusion bomb.

...and NOBODY told Bruce that fusion bombs have already existed for decades?!

And then they found the stolen fusion reactor with it's radiation signature...the entire point of fusion is that you turn harmless hydrogen into harmless helium or something.

They hand waved Bruce Wayne's crippled body with a KNEE BRACE?

Bruce just happens to make amazingly stupid stock moves at the instant the stock market is publicly hacked...and the authorities can't put two and two together that they might not have been legit transactions?

So...Bruce didn't know how to fight Bane, so all he did was punch him in the face. Bruce lost. THEN Bruce learned that Bane's weakness was his mask, so he was able to win by punching Bane in the face.

Bruce really spent all that time setting up the fire bat? Really? That must have taken a day. Three days for a cripple. Two days for a cripple with a magic knee brace.

Bane wasn't killed off screen by about 3 pixels.

I downloaded all three of these stupid movies. Gonna give them another shot and try to figure out what the hell is wrong with you people.

Where were all the people complaining about logical inconsistency when Dark Knight was out? That movie had it even worse. I didn't have as much of a problem with this one. Maybe watching on an airplane makes me pay less attention. I'll have to watch this again before I determine where I rank them.

You can poke holes like this through just about every comic book hero(es) movie ever made. Personally, I loved TDKR and if that involves believing that Bruce Wayne overcomes a broken back via some ancient method of an adjustment and a rope, then so be it.

Posting about them. I definitely recall people (including myself) complaining about things like the hilariously well-timed bank robbery in the beginning that relied on a bus driving through a wall at just the right time during a conversation and Batman being just fine after jumping off a skyscraper because a car broke his fall. Regardless, I still enjoyed it.

Yeah, that fall with Rachael off the skyscraper and landing on a car and just walking away is more stupid than anything in TDKR.

DKR has BILLIONS of plot issues, but I still dig it. Tom Hardy is awesome as Bane.

Oh, that's one thing that did bother me. Bane voice is ridiculous. Even crazier than Batman voice.

Part 2 of Dark Knight Returns comes out at the end of January. The magic brace is in part 1, but it's on his arm instead of his knee.
