well, I guess to be fair, if he is paying on a house and a car, a 100k isn't much right now. Houses are a lot of money right now. Even in MS, a nice sized house can be 160 to 300k

Daddy life is expensive

Its retail. For four months out of the year, you make huge bank. Six more months you do ok. Then there's two months where you hope to make enough to cover the bills.

The reason people have a hard time living on even 100k is because they think "I NEED A BIG HOUSE" and then spend a grand or two a month on that house.

If I made 100k a year fuck, I'd just save $60,000 of it each month and retire early.

I assume you mean a year.

Also if you have two kids and you live anywhere similar to California, you're basically spending near two grand a month on a place to live anyway, even if it's an apartment. Still that's only 24k a year, so you could spend another 16k on other things and still be saving 60k a year.
