4 player co-op R&C game announced at Gamescom Cologne, it's the first project from that North Carolina studio that Insomniac started awhile back. Personally I think it's high time for the franchise to be put out to pasture, but I have to admit I'm more impressed with the more exaggerated character models and animation being shown here than I have been with anything R&C in some time.
I'd want them to put down R&C if not for the fact that they've yet to have a bad console release.
I say keep em coming until they fuck up.
Ugh not excited about forced co-op, game looks good though. Honestly i think they just need to up the ante for the next single player one, combat hasn't really changed since the first one could use a re-tooling. The game just needs to be bigger, last one was good but it was pretty short and not a lot to do aside from the main levels. More bosses, and more fights that don't boil down to jump around and spam whatever. Have all the utilitarian useful guns on top of the dumb gimmicky/useless ones.
I'm just happy it's coming out fall 2011 because I have to play thru the other ps3 R&C titles. Now i just gotta find friends on ps3!
The last ps3 one was just... kind of boring? I thought it was a fine way to wrap up the series though.
I'll play R&C multi with anyone, I love those fucking games.
