this is objectively stupid.
You lookin' to get objectified?
My mom used to fall for this sort of bullshit alternative medicine crap all the time. After a car accident she became very susceptible to anyone calling themselves a chiropractor and believed chiropractice could cure things like allergies, attention deficit disorder, basically anything. She later had a long period where she was convinced of the healing powers of magnets, and bought mattresses with magnets implanted in them, magnet wands, magnet collars, etc. Even as a little kid I had to point out to her how incredibly dumb this shit was.
Is Opaque from California?
You should see what she's been doing to de-age her face lately! Just filthy.
I recently had to explain the difference between "natural remedy" and "homeopathy" (aka blatent fraud) to someone I hold dear, finally got through after some heavy resistance. Everybody's got some kind of thing they accept right off the bat without question, and it's rough getting past that sometimes. I think the term homeopathy has been misrepresented a lot into being some kind of acceptable idea?
In light of his recent penchant for scientific pontification my first guess would be that he's from Everest College.
Opaque, I didn't see that you had replied to me yesterday or else I'd have gotten back to you sooner. I don't have a whole lot of time to spend with you today so I'll just get after a couple of items real quick.
LOL. Please do us all a favor and go visit your latest whiny fight club thread (are you Ramon's dupe account now?) and read the first post. The one you made. Then make sure to apply all of that bedwetter type horseshit to yourself and not just the people who think you're a doofus.
Sure it works. It works like a fucking champ on the people it doesn't fuck up or kill. I know how you get a hoot out of a good testimonial so prepare yourself to laugh it up. My grandpa had colon cancer. It sucked. If he was alive today he'd tell you to your face. Shit sucked. But then he got his colon irradiated and guess what Opaque. All of a sudden shit sucked a whole lot worse. The cancer was seemingly history but a laundry list of never before seen (by him) health problems popped up almost overnight. He stayed miserable long enough for the same cancer to return to the same place. At that point he would have been happy to just die. Again, that is something he'd tell anybody who'd listen if he was here. So then, after much ado from his wife and a gang of doctors he was talked in to getting a second blast off the radiation. Again the cancer was killed but the new health problems only intensified. And then he was in pain, had difficulty moving, difficulty eating and difficulty going to the bathroom for the short and miserable rest of his life.Quote:
I'm sure the first guy who asked if sending radiation into a human body could save lives was probably told he was crazy, but it's only because they tested it that they figured out it does work.
I want you to know that I really am very proud of you for having taken the classes and I have to imagine that any prospective employers could only be straight up amazed when they reach the 'Community College Superscientist' portion of your resume. But I'd like to request one last favor while I'm here: Next time you're out yukking it up with all of your scientist and doctor buddies, please tell them that there's a guy from the internet who says they've got some holes in their game.
My honest response after I read all of that: Like, really?
I am honestly surprised you have come to hate me so much because of this thread, as if it was some personal attack on you. You must REALLY have it in for me because of something else I did that I don't remember.
It's lack in fight club, I rarely go into Music Discussion and bitch about no new threads related to video games. My point was never for people to be needless assess in sound off and gaming discussion.
Also could not one single person on this board understand my first post? I am very confused as to how everyone here thought I bought it or believed it or wanted anything more than to see what other people had to say about it.
