Got 100% in all of world 1 using the analog stick with no problems at all. Good for me!

I've been using the D-pad and not having an issue. I'm pretty sure only left and right register in this game.
Correct.
Ive played this a little, and unlike crappy games that are popular just because they are "indie" (Limbo and Flower come to mind), this seems like the real deal.
I can't speak for Limbo since the demo killed any interest I had but I like Flower just fine. I guess I don't see anything wrong with paying for an interactive screensaver. Presentation is enough, sometimes.
Super Meat Boy soundtrack is now available.
Excellent, was hoping that'd release. I love this game's music.
This reminds me a lot of Super Magnetic Neo. Breakneck pace, bouts of seamless, adrenaline-fueled platforming nirvana and hand-tightening, teeth grinding trial-and-error. I'm enjoying it, but my hands aren't =(
I dunno about that...harder game? Faster game? More grin-worthy thanks to hanging onto nostalgic nods? Great game in its own right?
Yep! But better than Super Mario Bros? I'm only halfway through and already it seems too imbalanced in favor of trial-by error completion. Which in a platformer, is only as good as your inclination towards punishment...the whole SMB series, even at its worst, never feels unfair, or like you have to die in order to memorize a level well enough to finish it.
