plik is an asshole, he sold me a working version of one of the shittiest console designs ever introduced to the world and it doesn't always work right away. I know it doesn't work because I used a fake version of the system which I got because the real thing is such a piece of shit, and my games totally work on that one all the time.
would be even worth my time to post a reply to the 2 pages worth of people shitting on me? i don't even know what the guy wants to do anymore.
He wants to feel better about his purchase. If you cared enough (which you obviously do, since you're asking about it) just state what happened, explained that everything was working when you sent it, and he claims that games sometimes take a couple tries to start which is why he wants to return it. Just don't act like him and swear and throw around accusations, the more civil you remain the better it looks.
Honestly plik, I would go into that thread, state your case (without coming across as an asshole) and then ignore everyone else. It's not worth getting into a flame war on NG.com since that won't accomplish anything, but if you at least give your side of the story the more critically thinking members will go "wait, maybe this guy isn't a scamming asshole, he's just trying to protect himself as a seller."
You have to remember, there have been so many people that have scammed users there out of thousands of dollars over the years that the sharks are ready to pounce on any slight hiccup that transaction may have. Several otherwise good sellers have had similar bitchfests thrown at them over relatively small issues that were blown out of proportion.
this is what i was planning on posting, what do you guys think?

it'scool to see this many responses, never been so (in)famous before.
i would like to share my side of the story now.
the NES was bought a few years back and the seller offered to put in a new connector for a few dollars more. i took that option.
when RAZO inquired about the condition, i stated that i cleaned the system and tested it with the games i had available (and included in the sale). yes, it was wrong of me to say that i was the one to put in the new connector but since i barely used it and my games seemed to work fine i assumed others would too. not having any other NES games to test the system with and not really knowing how to 100% verify that the connector was new i did not think much of it before selling it.
once again, i did not install the connector myself before i sold it, i can see now how that would have come accross in my PM to him and contradicting myself in the two different communations to RAZO. i'm sorry about that.
it was never my plan to scam him out of $45, that's why i offered to refund him the $30 ($45 - $15 shipping) and he send me the NES back. i am not amazon.com or some other online retailer that can eat the shipping cost.
why would i have to refund the shipping cost too? it's not like i got to keep that $. the post office has that now. i think my feedback on here would let you guys know that i was not out to scam anyone, and to have my reputaion shit on by people who only knew one side of the story.
i never was hostile to RAZO, and i did not deserve the PM i received.
"Fuck you dude. How the fuck do you figure. I paid $45 shipped. So where the fuck did my $15 dollars go to. And I still have to pay another $15 to send it back you cheap motherfucker. So why the hell don't I get the full refund? You fuckin scammer."
where do you think the $15 went? USPS. i can provide a scan of the recipt if necessary.
i was willing to refund some money and he keep the system or he can send it back and i refund him $30, it's not like i did not try and work things out.
either way, i don't need this level of internet drama so good bye and so long.
Sounds good to me. The grammar nazi in me fixed the capitalization for you:

Honestly....no system, no refund. Detach you bank account from Paypal like right now. Let him bitch all he wants, it takes Paypal forever to do anything refund-wise. He can start as many threads on as many forums as he wants, doesn't change the fact that he claims he has a broken NES and won't send it back. Go buy an expensive bottle of alcohol with the money and take pictures of yourself with it. Because I really doubt you'll ever see that NES again.
You are so fucking late to the party. Typical woman.
