Been watching roommates play this, and it really does look crazy easy. Even for Kirby standards. I don't know if I'll ever see a death sequence.
I don't think you can die. I think it just keeps taking your beads you collect away, and even if you loose them all you still live. It really is all about "score". In the sense of replaying the levels to have higher and higher bead counts. If you don't go for that, its insanely easy. You could breeze through it in 2 - 3 days.
Yeah, just saw the no beads thing happen.
I'd rather staple my nuts than replay something this slow for more beads though.
Kirby games always have the optional content that's pretty tough. I think that's Kirby's hard mode.
There is nothing remotely tough about any of this Play-skool shit.
