Mostly Rock Band 3. The game is AMAZING, so much better in the little details compared to the previous games, but I'm so out of practice I'm pretty much stuck in medium for the time being. Surprised my RB1 guitar still works.

Been playing DJ Hero 2 lately. I'm surprised at how much I like it!
sure is hideous looking though.
Ys: The Oath in Felghana: I'm about ready to finish off a Normal mode playthrough. Overall, it's definitely a better game than the original side-scrolling Ys III, with a lot more challenge. Unlike Ark of Napishtim, you can't just coast through boss battles with massive stockpiles of healing herbs (these drop from enemies killed during a level).
Mage Slayer (PC): Getting closer to the end.
I'm on chapter 11 and while the first part of the game is awesome, it quickly devolved into repetitive backtracking, errand running for lazy fucks in front of a computer, and monster closets. The combat also never gets more interesting or dynamic than it was in the beginning. Overall a good game I will happily finish but how the internets turned this into the second coming of RE4 I have no idea. It's not even close.
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness
Been grinding away at this in between work and other downtime. About 13 hours in a week, and probably a lot more to go. I originally tried it out back in the Atlus booth (room) at E3 in 2003 and loved it. I just hope that I'm not shorting myself on allies. To quote dog$, "playing n1 games is sort of like pressing the + button on a calculator and watching the number get bigger...but at least theres graphics to go along with it." Story is great so far.
Little Big Planet 2
Only made it through the first world and then the first level in the next. Planning on having a few huge sessions over the weekend. It feels much more polished than the first, and I like that all of the content could be imported. Amazon's costumes (Ratchet & Clank) are great; the Ratchet one is especially spot on.
I thought it was ARBM who said the thing about the calculator.
I still grind Afternoon of Darkness here and there as well. I'll never fill out the item list, but I can't seem to tire of getting a few tenths of a percentage closer. Something about seeing that "New" designation on a monster's equip makes me NEED it. I always stock 14 Bandit Hands for every item world visit.
With 60 hours on the original game and 110 hours on the PSP version, I've probably put more time into Disgaea than any other game.
Resident Evil 5 Gold
Addicted to this one. The coop is great and leeching points from godlike Japanese players in mercs mode is fun. So much to unlock.
Lost Planet 2
A lot of my friends picked this up when Newegg dropped the price to around $10 shipped. The game gets a lot of hate but I enjoy it. Far from a bad game. I sway away from multiplayer (versus battle) unless I'm playing with people I know. Configuration B alternate is basically what I would set if I had an edit option. Once I got used to the game's quirks, it became one of my favorite titles to play online... which is probably the only way I would want to play.
Resident Evil 2 (PS1)
RE5 Gold led me to pick this one up again. I think it holds up pretty well. The game design and combat are pretty tight for what it is/was. It still remains my favorite game in the series. I would have picked up the DC version but disc one of the set I found was in poor shape.
Zombie Revenge (DC)
The recent Racketboy Dreamcast meet up combined with a local arcade's playable cab (complete with those wacky analog joysticks) fueled my desire for this one. I didn't care for ZR when it came out, but I really like it now. The combat is probably too deep for the game's own good. It just has this odd, shitty charm about it.
Garou: Mark of the Wolves (DC)
I was frustrated with the sound delay and loading quirks of the US version so I picked up the Japanese version. The sound delay and loading issues are gone and the game is incredibly close to arcade perfect (I have had the pleasure of playing the MVS version). Getting a chance to play against some human players at the recent DC meet up really makes me want to find a group of locals who are willing to revisit this one on a regular basis.
Zombie Revenge is kind of awesome.
Lots of new stuff for me right now:
PC
Dead Space - I'm not paying $60 for a PC version of anything not named The Old Republic, so I have a little time to finish this up before I'll likely buy the sequel.
Mercenary - I'm willing to give anything that isn't a non-Matsuno JRPG a whirl for Game Club.
360
DoDonPachi Resurrection - I really need to squeeze more out of this before Black Label comes in just over a week...
PS3
Afrika - The price on this one never really agreed with my interest level, so I got it from GameFly. My daughter likes watching it.
Wii
Batman: The Brave & the Bold - I played through one full area the first time I turned it on and haven't had the itch to play again. The strongest attacks are waggle bullshit, so I almost want to finish it just to dock it for that nonsense.
Epic Mickey - Better than advertised so far but perhaps still short of potential. This is another good one to keep Baby Peach calm.
iOS
Mushihimesama: Bug Panic - The touch controls just don't work on this one well enough to blow through it, so I trudge a level or two at a time. I'd love to see this ported to Android so that it could be played with the Xperia Play's controls someday.
Meanwhile, my wife is playing through the Game of the Year Edition of Oblivion. I think she played it on my XBL account the first time, so she wants her Achievements and to see the expansions. And my daughter is switching between Diego: Dinosaur Rescue on the DS and Elmo's A-to-Zoo Adventures on the Wii. She has been assimilated.
