So I would love to get involved in making games. So much so that I'd like to get in on the XBLIG stuff. You and I know a lot of those games could use better art assets...
The thing I'm wondering is - has anyone here tried it? Know of good communities to go promoting my art to? Anyone else interested in giving it a go?
I think Matthew Doucette knows a bit about it.

And, since I got caught on this too at the beginning, it's XBLIG which stands for Xbox LIVE Indie Games. XBLA is Xbox LIVE Arcade. Xbox LIVE is the internet on the Xbox. So it's really just "Indie Games" and "Arcade" channels or platforms underneath or on Xbox LIVE. That's how I think of it.

It seems like you'd be better off developing for PC/iOS all around; I don't think anybody's really getting all that much exposure/money/pussy/whatever off of XBLA Indie releases.
