I never played Dark Sector, but I doubt it was better than say, Dark Athena.

That would probably be difficult to control with my tiny brain, but it sounds cool.

I'd really like them to include a bunch of other Top Cow characters in this game, as that might help us get a Witchblade game some day.

I liked Dark Sector, the glaive was fun as shit to steer into a line of enemies' necks. They should totally reuse that mechanic here, it'd make perfect sense as a Darkness power.

First order of business is to just use more characters from the Darkness. Sonatine was an amazing (and hilarious) villain, although Dark Sector's story sucked shit so I don't know if these guys would do him justice writing-wise. And the Angelus looked really cool.

edit: Oh, Paul Jenkins is writing this game. Nice.

Dark Sector was pretty good, a bit rough around the edges but still fun.

I would hazard a guess and say it is. Dark Athena sucked balls. I "sequence broke" that shit somehow and it totally fucked up my game.

I actually enjoyed the first Darkness all the way through, so I'm cautiously excited about what this could be.

I think the Darkness was the first game I owned on 360, and while I never finished it (or Dark Sector for that matter), I enjoyed both titles. Although quad wielding sounds completely rediculous.

The best part of this thread is the news about a Syndicate reboot being developed by Starbreeze.

The Darkness sucked. Dark Sector wasn't too bad.

Since this game has "dark" in the title, I expect it to be $20 less than half a year after release, just like the first Darkness, Dark Sector, Dark Athena, Dark Void, Dark Messiah, Darkest of Days and all the rest. It's like the word in the title just kills sales or something.
