Excited about this. BR2 was one of my favorite games of that gen. Rayne is an awesome character that deserves more games. I really wanted to know what was going to happen after the semi cliffhanger ending in the 2nd game.
Nice art style, some of the platforming almost looks meatboy inspired.
WayForward is one of the few devs that can take a terrible IP and make something amazing with it.
Also, I think that this embodies the spirit of Yoshi's biggest request - an HD 2D Castlevania ;p

I don't know how I missed this thread. I just watched the trailer yesterday. This game looks fuckin' awesome. I have the first two games and would have settled for another similar title, but this is even better.
The first review I've seen is very positive. I'll be on this later today when it goes up. Since Konami sucks, and Igrarashi sucks more, Hero is right that this is likely as close as we're going to get to a real Castlevania post-1994.
I saw today as it's release date - is that PSN? I would think XBLA would be tomorrow...
