So how often does the eShop have sales?
Thanks to the deluxe digital promotion, I got a free $5 eShop voucher for registering my free copies of Wind Waker and Super Metroid, but it seems like most of the games on the eShop are all normal price right now.

They have sale every month, but they rotate titles, mostly 3rd party. I hardly see first party roms on sale.

No mention yet of the recently released Wii U System Update 5.0 that introduces the Quick Start Menu? It fires up immediately, seems like a great addition/improvement.
The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap is out today on the Wii U VC.
The retail release of Wii Sports Club arrives July 25th.

Steamworld Dig comes to the Wii U, aiming for a fall release.

I'll get Minish Cap. It'll put me over for another $5 DDP certificate.

I thought this was a good article. We've talked a lot about the Wii U filling in the lull in current gen software, but the more recent delays really have extended Nintendo's window. Their problem is going to be that they don't want to release new hardware until 2016, which seems to leave them exposed to an avalanche next year.

Ideally Nintendo would opt out of another round of home consoles.
