I applaud them for not having 3DS exclusive VC console games, but they still need to work out cross buy. I read on NeoGAF (and survived) that Nintendo claims that the 3DS cannot really handle GBA games, which is why they are only coming to Wii U. The "yeah but" regarding the Ambassador games was answered with the fact that the GBA Ambassador games on 3DS don't have the typical functions the other 3DS games do like being able to hit home and bring up the browser and the like.

They use DS mode to emulate them, which cuts out all modern 3DS functions.

Ah, that makes sense. I just wish I knew that buying a GBA VC game on Wii U would give me access to it on their next portable iPhone app.

I don't believe I've ever heard of a situation like this before. Ubisoft has a game completed that they won't release until the user base is larger.

Who does that serve? The game is done, the devs put in the work.

It's Beyond Good and Evil 2 btw.

They probably want to do a big marketing push and feel that the cost of such and physical production will have a greater return if they sit on what they have for now. It seems silly but I've seen it happen a lot with movies (although the reasoning there is usually timing for public opinion, but there's a number which have sat completely finished for years before being released).

Well movies, sure, but that might be because of other movies coming out around it, or the movie isn't that good.

Sounds like an Ubisoft game on Wii U.
