Were it not for Sony Rewards, the Wii U would have been my only current console until roughly February, so I buy that. I think Microsoft actually looking competent hurts Nintendo though, because now more people may buy two consoles whose libraries overlap by 90% instead of a PS4 and a Wii U. That excludes the Smash Bros. and Halo fans, but frankly they deserve it.
Anybody doing anything hurts Nintendo. Diff nailed it when says Mario Maker should be on iPad. You screw around with that away from home and then you can't wait to play your creations on the WiiU.
How big of a market is that? In and of itself, not huge, but those things add up.

I still am not sold on Smash Bros. I never got the series, and this one looks no different (unlike Mario Kart, which I have not gotten into until 8).
I will buy Woolly Yoshi though, that looks awesome.
I like Smash Bruvs as something that I will never, ever put the time in to learn but appreciate the idea of.
