At first I was mad at Nintendo, but then I realized Sony and MS were just as bad. Then I realized that browsing Netflix sucks these days, too.
UIs aren't being designed with the intent for you to easily browse anymore. They funnel you to what they want to sell and throw you a couple of bones based on your past purchases/views. It's shit.
The Wii U Gamepad is better than I thought; I never knew you could play wii games on it and aim the wii remote at it or you could control your TV with it...
The people calling for Nintendo to sell the Wii U without the pad have obviously never used it.
Well, it's definitely a better value add than Kinect but I dunno maybe they should give it a try....
They would have to rewrite major parts of the OS, a ton of games would either need major reworking patches, or just not be supported by the padless systems, and it would shave all of 50 - 75 bucks off the cost of the system. To garner what exactly? Is anyone really staying away form the system due to the gamepad? I don't think it's anywhere near the same level of intrusion that Kinect is. I suppose some of that could be said of Kinect as well, in regards to OS, and games not working, but I think people see Kinect as more of a negative than the gamepad.
Hey. I have Monster Hunter on this, I've literally never played it.
Anybody feel like partying up anytime?
Does it use voice chat correctly? Or would we have to use XBOX Live like before? I'm ready to jump in now that we're done catching up with Game of Thrones.
