Wow I forgot it was GBA. I played it on the DS though. I think? I haven't played a handheld zelda since! Clearly!
Well, the actual DS games weren't nearly as good, so you probably made the right choice. Naturally, the first DS Tingle has them all beat.
No love at all in this thread for Link's Awakening? Even a little? To this day it's the most fun I've had playing any of the Zelda games. Also probably the best game on the original green-screen Gameboy, although that's not quite such a major accomplishment.

I revisited Link's Awakening not too long ago. It really is one of the best in the series, I love the music and the linear storytelling was really engaging. Being able to combine weapons was a neat feature that was never really explored again.
Link's Awakening is the best game in the series IMO. It's going to be tough to resist the 3DS when that game hits the eShop.
Ages and Seasons Shit all over every one of the 3D Zeldas, and Minish Cap isn't that far behind. What are you smoking?Quote:
