That second blog has some retarded people on it. One guy made a fan poster for Tron and a rave in Brazil used the image to promote their rave without his permission and he called it theft. They didn't compensate your fan art when they weren't selling it three thousand miles away in another country that doesn't even speak your language? Those monsters.

Some of these other ones are very interesting though and the whole thing reminds me of a time where a guy on the RvB forums took that Spartan Armor drawing of me and made it his avatar without even changing anything other than the name at the bottom. It was creepy.

This is what skateboard companies have ALWAYS done. Get over it.

Someone else bitched because a photographer in another country took a job where a model wanted a picture taken in the same style as another piece the original artist did. I didn't realize she held an international patent on photos where the model is wearing stupid white horns and veil.

We're not talking about someone collecting physical money to pay their bills. We're talking about it being easier for adults with heavy work loads or heavy responsibilities like children getting aid to go back to school. We're talking about how those people deserve some sympathy and help. Them getting aid is very related to legislation.

That blog does highlight some serious violations, but there quite a few where, as you stated, people don't understand imitation.

Yeah there's stuff like people pictures being straight printed on shirts and sold. One guy had an artist paint a picture he took of his daughter and then try to sell it for $2600.

Then someone's like "I INVENTED WHITE HORNS FUCK"

The T-shirt shit where they just copy it and sell it on ebay is just stupid bootleg shit that will always happen.

The shit where like Urban Outfitters or someone takes a really clever graphic and turns it into a T-shirt with one thing slightly changed is the worst and happens all the goddamn time. So pathetic.
