You know, it's funny... way back when it was first rumored that Microsoft was getting into video games, everybody hated the idea. As far as your average Joe was concerned Bill Gates was the antichrist, what with all the shady bs MS got up to back then*, so naturally we wanted him to keep his grubby mitts off our games. The thing comes out and it's a gamer's dream. Everything about it was so well-designed and forward-thinking. A decade and change later, the great Satan steps down... and our worst fears from back then all come true. Not saying it's a causal relationship (I understand the reasons are more to do with changes in leadership in the Xbox division specifically), just that it's an amusing turn of events.
