What I played of this was well-presented and all, but I don't think I want to play any more of it. A 4-5 hour light gun game sounds like such a horrible idea. It was definitely slow and sparse when compared to any of the main series games.
That opinion doesn't surprise me, given your arcade-based taste. I like both flavors, personally. They really need to announce HotD4 and Rambo for Move though, more to your tastes.
I still haven't seen Move in person, but it's more responsive than a Wiimote, right? I'd probably buy both.
Damn, I gotta get that package out!
I seriously wish Sega would get all their Light gun games out on PS3.
Move is soooooo much more accurate than wiimote. You can place your move controller down on the table and your pointer stays still. Not so with the wiimote. That shit is always jumping around.
The next question, then, would be which is better between Guncon 3 and Move.
The GunCon 3 is a pain in the ass because of the sensors it has to have on the TV. They don't mix well with my tate setup. I've read pretty consistently that the Move is actually better too, though I haven't personally taken the plunge yet.
If every gun game ever released from here on out had guncon 3 support, I might say go with that; only because it's a proper gun. I imagine a line pointing directly from the barrel to the screen for sighting purposes. It's a little harder when your barrel is the size of a golf ball. Using a reticule makes it easier, but who wants to do that?
I didn't take sensor placement into account. I could see that making the GC3 more trouble than it's worth.
I loved Overkill, will happily get the upgraded version if I pick up a Move by then.
