This is basically Konami's answer to Professor Layton. I expected it be a 2012 title, but it now has a September 1 placeholder at GameStop, so hopefully that means it'll make this year, well ahead of the 3DS Layton. I like the National Treasure vibe I get from it, though it'll need it to overcome its frenchness. They should have gone with an American to copy from the British Layton.
Yeah, this is one of the few upcoming 3DS games that I'm hopeful for. The light RPG elements are a bonus over Layton and Konami has had good results at emulating N franchises:

I've been looking forward to it as well. It's funny how brazen they are about lifting just about everything from that other Academic L__t__ series. It looks like it might be a little more actiony though! That would be nice.
